Name of Subplot: Montagues And Capulets
Character Names: Jude Beauvais and Natalie Burr
Plot Summary: Natalie and Jude meet in a bar in downtown Paris, a usual haunt for the man but completely new ground to the young woman. Natalie catches Jude’s eye (as is tradition with him and attractive women) and he offers to buy her a drink. She rejects him, but after a few minutes of him insisting she eventually gives in. Neither know who the other is - Jude gives his real name but Natalie uses an alias. The two share a night’s conversation and their very first kiss, but after they leave both try to forget each other quickly. However, it doesn’t take long until both find themselves dwelling on the night spent, and they plan to meet up again. Before they do however - chance TV mentions and an accidental glance at her Father’s ‘undesirables’ file bring real identities, and both Natalie and Jude are completely shocked to find themselves in a Romeo and Juliet type position - each facing choices which risk their family, friends, livelihoods and reputation, each obsessed with the enemy.
