Nistalgia is a game, not a brutal competition. It's a relaxing, artsy place to come and have fun throughout four different commissions. If you're tired of all the 5-hour edit sittings, attention to detail, baring fruits of labor over something that feels a tad bit unnoticed, well... there's an open place for you right here.
| I'm looking for 3-5 simmies, who will participate and want to enjoy a contest. Trust me, this isn't about winning, this is about learning and getting new ideas. There will be a winner who we will all poll together and decide on. There are no 'official' judges. The judges are you ; you'll be commenting on each others photos and giving advice, or just saying how much you love it (I'm not gonna force you to become over analytical about someone elses photo, who probably already analyzed it enough. Still, advice is probably appreciated).
| No one get's eliminated in any of the commission rounds. Everyone can have a chance at winning, and no one is going to be left behind. If you need help, post in the forum or PM me. If you see a help post, try to help them, because it definitely won't hurt you.
| Each round is not about high fashion, but centered around art and mood of a picture. examples are getting lost, falling in love, ethereal mindset, frustration or upset, etc.

e.) complete commissions as assigned. please? waiting is very 2008! emergencies are understood.
f.) there is no reason to drop out. a game shouldn't be that hard, and others are depending on your advice.

e n t r i e sthe basic idea is that you can enter either an art piece, manipulated of a sim and such, and you can enter an ingame piece with a set and anything that portrays the commission (preferred minimal editing on this because it is supposed to be ingame). or, if you're more writer-like, you can submit a 5-10 slide story (the slides can be edited if you wish).
art pieces will have detail and are kind of expected to actually be edited, not a simple picture of a sim you call art. if you wish to do that, you can go ingame and create a simple set with your sim as the focal point.
ingame pieces are to have a nice, well-put together set (or erratic if the commission inspires you to do that), and you do not absolutely have to have a sim in the picture. weird, right? as long as you are ingame without putting anything real into the picture (except maybe windows), it does not have to have a sim. the sim you're competing with will have to explain the piece, though.
stories aren't to be very long at all. no more than 1000 words, but something tells me not many people will commit to this idea anyway. however, it is a big option and i love to see sims stories. you're to have pictures to illustrate your story, atleast 1 for every 200 words. you aren't aloud to have more than 10 pictures, and no less than 5. the shortest story I want is 200-300 words. picture sizes should be in fair range of each other (same size, 300h x 500w preferred). i do suggest these if you're going for a romance or two-sim theme!
for everything you do, you are allowed to have two sims or more, as long as yours is included. everything is to be pmed to me, and here is the required format for the stories.

She's adorable :love: the reason I didn't make a picture necessary is probably gonna come through in the first commission; though it's always nice to put a face to the name!
Now let's hope there are a few others who find it interesting enough to apply, too ^_^
