Can you create the perfect movies still? Can you portray different genres? Can you beat the rest of your competition?INFORMATION- Portraying a
different genres of movies, ie silent movies, action etc. using portraits, body shots and all different methods.
- It will not be particular movies (although stills from some movies will be used as examples) but the genre and theme that are the most important and that is what you will be judged on, as well as skill.
- It will involve alot of
exaggerated poses and makeup/hair- There will be around 9 rounds (depending on interest) with different themes for each.
- You will be given
one week to complete each round, extensions will be given if asked for in advance.
- Photoshop, frankensteining etc will be necessary!
- Roleplay is not necessary but you are welcome to do it. It will not affect your judging, but is encouraged.
- Also if anyone has any prizes to offer, please PM me.

Headshots were a big thing in the 40's - 50's and helped the studio to sell the actresses to the public and for casting. This was very similar to a models casting these days. For our final round we will be recreating this and here are the details:

As always you amaze me with your creativity. I really wanted to see you in the finale because I knew that you would produce something original and I was not disappointed. This is a very unusual glam shot and shows a much sexier side to you while at the same time emphasising not only your beauty but also your uniqueness.
I love the dress you chose, very risque but also very glam. And I think your pose is very daring and works great with the shot (the only critique I would give is that your neck looks a little long and awkward).
You have been utterly fabulous throughout this competition and what I love in particular about you Erin is that you always look so present in your photos, giving the camera something special and edgy. Good luck and you should be very proud of all your amazing work.

Beautiful. This is such a heavenly shot of you and I say heavenly because you look so angelic! I love the soft beauty that comes through in your expression and your styling is perfect. Great decision to keep it simple and not over-do it with the jewellery, in fact you just showing us the one earring reminds me of the painting 'Girl With the Pearl Earring', though obviously much more glamorous!
Your make-up looks beautiful and really does bring the vibe of 50's glam to the photo, the beauty spot in particular is a great little detail. I've enjoyed seeing all your gorgeous photos throughout this contest and wish you the best of luck. |

Erin:Well girl you know modeling alright and acting and this is it! yeah you didn't follow the rules but I still love it and we'll accept it as this! My only problem is the dead expression I cant really see it cause you're not looking up. I can't see the beauty, it looks like the hair is taking all the picture and you're fading away from this picture, next time do it as exact rules. I love the hair here and the wardrobe and the pose. When I look at this picture all I can say see Misery you look depressed. Another thing the details are amazing you really portrayed something from the OLD days and I can see that from this picture. April: Oh oh oh the beauty in the bunch April. I know you were having fun with this shot cause I can tell that beauty shots are your strength, you really are not afraid to show your inner-self. Your emotion is intense you look so pretty here. The hair is amazing it really is showing the 40's - 50's vibe. The lips are so Vintage the dark lips are amazing and give you strength to all the parts of your face. This is anamazing pic and April, try to rememeber my comments as one way to improve cause you always take our critiques as imporvement and that is why we see every week amazing pics from you. I think this is far from what I have seen you do before. You have all done brilliantly and now we are so going to have trouble cause of these amazing pictures. Congratulations again and Good luck! |

Congratulations on getting to the final! A well deserved spot as you have produced some amazing photos in this contest. However i find it hard to love this photo. I feel that I only like it when I cover your head over with my hand. The body part just doesn't seem to fit right with the head and it looks very awkward. In the brief you were asked to show your beauty, but I feel this just looks too distorted and stiff. I agree that your shading is wonderful and the gown looks amazing but if you had lifted the head and possibly lent on your arm it would have been a truly beautiful shot which shows your face. Good luck and we will let the public decide
