I'm sure there are a few Buffy the Vampire Fans out there, so I thought I should tell.
Hope this is the right place for this thread.


Personally, I'm outraged. As a die hard Buffy fan, I'm insulted and disgusted.

What everyone elses thoughts on the matter?

Yeah, My bf told me about it.
It's going to be based on the first Buffy movie.
I don't like the old movie, I like the serie with Xander and Willow.
A movie without them is not fun D:

I heard about it yesterday and think it's a terrible idea! I hated the original movie - and so did the majority - so why are they trying to recreate it? Just because the show was a huge hit does not mean that a movie - with a brand new cast - will be. The only reason it was so successful was because of the cast, Joss Whedon and the other writers. Creating this movie will most likely destroy the show - and ruin it's good name. I honestly think this is the perfect opportunity for Joss and the cast to think about their own movie.

What really gets me, is that the director said that "this just seems like the moment"

More like, people are getting back into vampires and their taking advantage of it.
