HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAZZY! I like the goggles. Goggles are uber cool. :3 And look! I actually wrote a birthday story! It's short, but I hope you enjoy it anyway! | QUOTE (Happy Birthday Tazzy) | Underground. Far beneath the surface of the island, is a darkened, man-made cavern. It was the lair and hangout of one of Teh City’s most infamous inventors and pyromaniacs; Avatar the Flan-I.
Usually, none save Shannon the Leech could ever come into the most sacred of Avatar’s homes. On this special day, two others were descending the steps. They were each hidden by their hoods, one pink the other purple. The girls moved down the spiral staircase into darkness.
“Halt! Who dares enter my lair!?”
A menacing figure appeared in front of them, standing in between a stone archway. The figure wore a dark mask over his face and held a mighty battle ax in his hands.
“You’re about five seconds away from a kiggle if you don’t stop screwing around.” Crystal warned him in a serious tone.
With a yelp, Avatar tossed away the ax and the mask and motioned for them to follow him into his inner-most sanctum. A small square room, the walls made of natural stone with computer systems installed all along them.
In the exact center of the room was a table, and on it sat a silver platter covered by a lid. Tazzy shook her head, wearing an expression of confusion along with her new goggles. She moved towards the platter, but Crystal placed a hand on her shoulder, holding her back.
“Hold on… I need to make absolutely sure!” Crystal told the others, grabbing her cell phone and placing a call.
A few rings, and then a voice.
“Hello? … OH! Hey! Yeah, everything’s set up. Heheh, don’t worry, this is by far one of the most elaborate distractions ever; Kimi shouldn’t suspect a thing.” Sama explained.
“Are you SURE?” Crystal asked.
“… We’re in Egypt! I bought her a cactus… oh, and on a side note, I may have accidentally unleashed an evil mummy hell bent on destroying the living.” Sama’s voice replied over the phone.
Crystal gave a small sigh, but decided to deal with one problem at a time. “… Kay, as long as Kimi’s distracted.”
“She is! … Oh, but you’d better hurry, she seems bored.”
“How can you tell?”
“Well, for one thing she’s juggling camels… also she keeps saying ‘I’m bored’.” Sama replied.
Crystal paused once more. “… We’ll hurry… and text me a picture of that camel juggling.”
After hanging up, Crystal nodded to Avatar. Wringing his hands like a mad genius, Avatar moved towards the platter on the table.
“We don’t have to do this… the party was great, and the gifts are all really nice…” Tazzy tried to convince her friends to forget about their attempt to present the essential birthday food without interruption.
“No!” Crystal shook her head, defiant. “It’s taken a lot of time, effort and money, but we’ve finally got a chance to have a birthday party where someone actually gets their cake!”
Avatar whipped the lid off the platter, showing a magnificent cake, full of frosting and candles. It shone like a brilliant beacon in the darkest depths of the cave.
“… It IS a nice cake.” Tazzy admitted, licking her lips.

Meanwhile, in Egypt…
Seven camels had just fallen to the ground. (Luckily, they were all unharmed).
“Someone said cake.” Kimi announced, her face having turned from a near-sleep state of boredom to an intense stare.
“What? No they didn’t!” Sama waved his arms wildly.
“Yeah they did. It was pinky. Back home.” Kimi nodded.
Sama sweat dropped. “First, you don’t have super hearing… and secondly, even if you did, that’s hundreds of miles away! Maybe more than a thousand, I don’t know how real world geography matches with our fictional world… but my point is, not even Superman could have heard something like that!”
Kimi punched him in the arm. “First, Superman’s got nothing on me, he’s a putz. Secondly… I’m going to eat that cake!”
Sama tackled her. “No! I made a promise that I’d do everything I could to keep you from eating Tazzy’s cake!”
It was only after he finished his sentence that Sama realized that, despite having tackled Kimi with all his might, she was still flying towards Teh City. He yelped at the realization that they were several hundred feet in the skies.
“Go away. You’re slowing me down.” Kimi commanded him; and then kicked him.
“Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww pooootaaaaaaaaaaatooooooooooooooooesssssssssss…”
Sama’s voice trailed off as he fell lower and lower.

Sitting around Avatar’s square table, Tazzy was brimming with happiness as she ate a slice of the cake. Avatar was currently cutting new slices for Crystal as well as himself, while Crystal had just taken her cell phone out once more to call the others and give them the all clear.
Then her phone rang, just before she could dial a number.
“Hello?”
“Crystal!? Kimi’s on her way! SHE’S ON HER WAY! I tried to stop her, but now I’m stuck in Norway.”
Crystal’s eye twitched. She ran to the table and started shoveling pieces of cake onto Tazzy’s plate. Tazzy blinked and looked up at her.
“Um… whatcha doing?”
“Kimi’s coming! You have to finish the cake before she gets here!” Crystal announced.
Tazzy blinked again. “… There’s no way I can –”
“EAT!”
Avatar jumped to his feet, a crazed grin on his face. “DON’T WORRY LADIES! I’ll slow Kimi down!”
He jumped away from the table and went to face the staircase the girls had taken earlier; the only route in or out of his inner-sanctum. Suddenly, the wall exploded in a shower of rubble and Kimi was standing before him.
“Move. Cake. NOW!” Kimi demanded with a growl.
“Shannon! Protect!” Avatar called; and his anaconda-sized leech slithered up to his side and hissed loudly at Kimi.
Kimi paused. “… Hang on.” She flew back out the hole she had just made, and a moment later reappeared (making a new hole in the wall) now holding Sama in her hand.
“… Aw, but I was learning about Norway! They import most of their food, but they do grow potatoes. Did you know that?” Sama announced.
“Quiet, you.” Kimi commanded; and then she threw Sama up the staircase. Naturally, Shannon forgot her commands and bolted after him.
“AH! Stairs! … AHH! LEECH!”
Crystal gave a sigh as Kimi shot past Avatar and devoured the remnants of the cake in such time as to set a new world record.
Tazzy shrugged. “Well… I did get some of my cake, and it did taste good!”

That’s true about Norway. … thought I have no idea where that random trivia came from nor why it’s relevant enough to be in a birthday story.

Aw, thanks for all the birthday wishes, guys! So far my day has indeed been great! And . Well, at least I got SOME cake this time. Thanks for the story blurb, GS! It was awesome.
